Nursery Nurse

Role description: Nursery Nurse positions are available at a progressive, independent nursery located close to Twickenham train station. They are looking for experienced, senior nursery nurses to work in the EYFS to start as soon as possible. The nursery is extremely well resourced with an exciting approach to learning and development.
Experience required: candidates should have NVQ3 qualification in Early Years Education; experience in EYFS in the UK; be enthusiastic and engaging with the children in your care; and have creative ideas to share with colleagues. 

Supported Housing Worker

Contract type: permanent

  • You will be asked to advising on housing and welfare benefits

  • You will need to demonstrate an understanding of working directly with vulnerable people; this can include tenants with ill health, elderly, behavioural issues, domestic violence, homeless.
  • Participate in the selection of new tenants through interviews and applications
  • Review and enforce tenancy agreements
  • To provide on-going help and support to residents wishing to enable them to successfully manage their move-on tenancy or ensure tenancies are renewed
  • To assist residents in accessing education, training and employment opportunities and to support them in their placements
  • To prepare residents for independent living by offering advice and support on practical issues such as budgeting
  • You will need to be IT literate with good verbal and writing skills

Senior Support Worker

The main duties and responsibilities of the post holder will be to understand and respond to the specific needs of individual adults with learning disabilities. Outreach Worker

  • Help young people develop and maintain social networks.
  • Ensure that they are aware of all the local community resources available to them.
  • Discreet supportive monitoring of young persons' self-care.
  • Encourage young persons' self care and where necessary training and information on elements of self-care.
  • Ensure a high quality physical environment for the young people which is safe and enables them to lead a safe and healthy life.
  • Where necessary offer counselling on any problems, emotional, social and financial, which the young person may have.
  • Ensure that the young people are aware of and are motivated to seek and receive any statutory or project based entitlements.
  • Befriend the young person and/or where necessary help share in their recreational and leisure activities.

Support Worker

Role description: Support Workers are required for those needing assistance in living more independently. The role entails providing advice and information; providing emotional and practical support; helping clients to meet their personal needs in a sensitive manner and to a high standard, including assistance with laundry and preparing meals and drinks; assisting clients with taking medication, in line with medication policies, including storage, administering and record keeping.

Special Educational Needs Teacher

Role description: we urgently require specialist SEN teachers who can work with PMLD, ASD, SLD, EBD and complex medical needs for short term and long term work. If you are a qualified teacher with any of these SEN skills we would love to hear from you.

Experience required: you must be committed to SEN, have relevant experience and qualifications and the ability to remain calm and focused in very challenging settings. Knowledge of PECS, TEACH, MAKATON, TEAM TEACH or other SEN programs would be an advantage.

You must also: have teaching qualifications and experience in Special Educational Needs preferably PMLD. 

Qualified Primary and Secondary School Teachers

Learning Support Assistant

Contract type: short term and long term

Location: West London

Role description: caring individuals with excellent social skills and a personable nature are needed to work along side young people with learning disabilities, supporting them in college.

Within this role you will be supporting students, including those with severe learning difficulties, complex medical conditions, severe communication disorders, bi-modal sensory impairment and challenging behaviours. Due to the nature of these conditions your duties could include the personal care of a number of students; therefore candidates applying should demonstrate compassion and patience. Qualifications such as Team-Teach, and for moving and handling would be favourable.

Experience required: You must have good spoken and written English; be eligible to work in the UK and have a minimum of 6 months child related experience within an SEN/care setting.
